Christmas and New Years!

What a whirlwind these last couple of months have been but I guess it's better to busy than not. We had such a fabulous time with Christmas with the Tanakas and New Years with the Moores. Here are some pics to describe it all. Highlights: Sledding at the Sand Dunes in Southern Utah, getting American Idol Wii game, being with family and watching Gage open up presents!

Halloween pics!

Halloween is getting more fun each year. Gage dressed up as Pooh Bear!!! He looked adorable but was incredibley hot in his outfit and it was too short for him despite being the "correct size". Anyways, we went to a couple of our friends houses to trick-or-treat but didn't do anything beyond that because Gage wasn't feeling too great (bronchitis... we found out that Gage is like his Mom and Dad - allergic to the world but mostly animals). Also, I love this blogging thing cuz you get to link to all sorts of different blogs and find funny things. Here is a sample of just that. You saw Ben, Gage and I as a "simsponized" family. Try it on simpsonizeme.com!!

Trip to California!

Gage and Mom packed up the bags this weekend and went to see Dad in California. We had a great time and were incredibly sad when we had to come back home to Colder Than The Antarctic, Idaho. Gage had fun at McDonald's playland, the Pumpkin Patch (we got to watch some pig races and ride a train... all while eating yummy cotton candy!), watching the fountains (a miniature version of the Bellagio Hotel Fountains) and the Golden Gate Bridge. We learned what a crazy city San Fransisco is and if we ever had to live there we would sell all of our stick shift vehicles... it just doesn't work with those steep hills!

Yellowstone Trip!

We decided to take a quick trip to Yellowstone yesterday and had a great time. We saw tons of buffalo, elk and antelope as well as 3 mooses, 2 coyotes and 1 wolf. We still have yet to put a bear on our list. That could be a good thing though! Here are a few pics of the trip. One of the highlights was the one buffalo holding up traffic for about a mile and the elk that used the crosswalk so well.

Tanaka Look-alike Meter

I often get questioned (or at least quizzical looks) when I'm out and about with Gage whether or not he's adopted. But don't let those dominant features fool anyone anymore... check out this meter!!
